Acceptable Use Policy

Moonlight is for users aged 18 and older. Use photos you own or have permission to use, and obtain each identifiable person's consent for the requested edit or animation. Permission to edit a photo does not automatically include permission to publish it. Consent does not make prohibited content acceptable.

You may not use Moonlight to create, upload, or share:

• nudity, pornography, sexual acts, sexually explicit material, or content intended for sexual gratification, including fictional or AI-generated depictions;
• child sexual abuse material, sexualized minors, or content that facilitates child exploitation;
• non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual violence, sexual exploitation, or edits that remove clothing to expose intimate body parts;
• content that facilitates violence, terrorism, trafficking, self-harm, illegal drugs, or other serious unlawful conduct;
• hateful, harassing, defamatory, or threatening content intended to target or harm a person or protected group;
• deceptive impersonation, fraud, identity theft, election interference, or fabricated evidence; or
• content that violates privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, or other rights.

You may not probe or disrupt the Service, introduce malicious code, scrape or resell access, automate abusive volumes of requests, compromise another account, misrepresent request origins, evade rate limits, or attempt to discover or bypass safety systems. Do not use the Service to develop or benchmark a competing safety-evasion system.

A person's public profile or public-figure status does not give permission to create intimate, defamatory, deceptive, or harmful content about them. When a reasonable viewer could mistake Output for authentic footage, a photograph, or an event, you must disclose that it was generated or materially edited when necessary to avoid deception or harm.

We may block a request, remove content, restrict features, suspend or terminate an account, preserve evidence, and cooperate with valid legal process. Enforcement decisions may consider content, context, intent, severity, history, and risk. Serious violations may be reported to relevant authorities or safety organizations.

We may update this policy as the Service, technology, or law changes. The latest version posted here applies to your use of Moonlight and is incorporated into the Terms of Service.
